NEW FHL DIRECTORS 

The Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of iTaukei Affairs, recently appointed Mr. Carl Ngamoki-Cameron as the new Chairman of the FHL Board. 

Mr. Ngamoki-Cameron is a commercial lawyer by profession, and a graduate from the University of Auckland and Otago. He joins the FHL Board, well experienced on legal, commercial and business issues in Fiji. He currently holds several Board appointments and is a member of numerous professional organizations in Fiji and New Zealand, the notable ones include; the Institute of Directors in New Zealand Inc, NZ Law Society, Law Asia, Auckland Bar Association and Arbitration Mediation Institute of New Zealand. He is also the President of Fiji-New Zealand Business Council, Deputy Chairman for Fiji Public Trustee Corporation Limited and a Trustee for the Houpoto Te Pua Maori Forestry Trust (NZ). He is a naturalized Fiji citizen. In addition, Mr. Ngamoki-Cameron has recently been appointed to the Board of the Fiji Rugby Union and also as the Chairman for Air Terminal Services Limited. He has also been actively involved in community and charitable events in Fiji including Rugby (Rewa and Suva) and the annual Hibiscus Festival. 

In addition to the above nomination, the Minister of iTaukei Affairs has also appointed Mr. Ilimotama Cawi as a Board Director.
Mr. Ilimotama Cawi is a Chartered Accountant and presently a lecturer at the Fiji National University. He is a member of the Fiji Institute of Accountants and also the Institute of Internal Auditors (Fiji Chapter). He joins the Board with vast experience on the accounting and audit services, with in depth knowledge on Forensic accounting. He has also worked as a civil servant being a Training Officer with the Fiji Police Force and later became the Manager for Anti-Money Laundering & Proceeds of Crime Unit. Mr. Cawi has also held senior managerial positions with Colonial Life Insurance, Commerce Commission, Security Division for the Embassy of United States of America, BDO Chartered Accountants. He has a Master of Forensic Accounting with distinction from the University of Wollongong and Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Banking, Economics and Management from the University of the South Pacific. 

The FHL Board now consists of; Messrs Carl Ngamoki-Cameron (Chairman), Iowane Naiveli, Padam Lala, Saimoni Lutu, Ulaiyasi Baya and Ilimotama Cawi.
