FHL Logistics Open West Branches
FHL Logistics Limited, a recently established wholly owned subsidiary of Fijian Holdings Limited has opened its branches in Nadi and Lautoka. According to FHL Logistics’ General Manager, Mr Azad Ali, the company has set up a branch at the Nadi International Airport and one on Tukani Street in Lautoka to cater for customers in the West. The Nadi branch will provide services such as air freight forwarding, deconsolidation services, customs house agents, air freight exports and transportation whilst the services provided by the Lautoka Office will comprise of sea freight forwarding, deconsolidation, custom house agency, household removal service, wharf operations, transportation, bonded warehousing and sea freight exports. The move is part of the company’s plan for expansion within Fiji. “Customers who trade via air, sea and land will benefit greatly from this expansion as it provides them with more options in terms of professional services in this area“, said Mr Ali. FHL Logistics Limited is also planning to operate at an international level in the near future. Mr Ali said, “We are looking at going into international freight forwarding in a few months and we would like to have a worldwide network. Our aim is to be an excellent provider for both our internal and external customers.” At present the company has a fleet of 50 trucks which is shared amongst its Suva, Nadi and Lautoka branches. It currently employs 30 people and also has available an attachment program for graduates interested in the area of Logistics and Shipping as a long term career option.
