Fijian Holdings Limited today announced the launch of the FHL Group Intranet.

FHL Chairman, Mr Isoa Kaloumaira launched the group’s intranet at Ra Marama House today in the presence of Board Members and Executives of the FHL Group.

FHL Managing Director, Mrs Sereana Qoro said, “The intranet is an internal resource that will be a valuable part of the group’s work environment as it is extremely useful for communication and collaboration between all employees for the successful functioning of our business given the size of the Group which comprises nine subsidiary companies with more than 1,400 employees. It is an initiative that will provide our employees immediate access to needed corporate information from anywhere within the group”.

Mrs Qoro added that upon launch of the intranet, all employees will have ready access to standard policies which supports the principles of corporate governance and compliance that is now widely promoted in the group.

“Not only will the intranet result in cost reduction in various areas of our business due to its paperless attribute, it is also important for business operation as we now live in a time where speed and accessibility to information and data is vital for decision making and business success. The introduction of the intranet will result in a more integrated group with employees communicating and collaborating more freely and more productively”, said Mrs Qoro.

Mrs Qoro further added that the FHL Group Intranet was entirely developed in-house and that its implementation will further enhance the performance of the Group.
