APPOINTMENT OF JOSEFA TUAMOTO AS DIRECTOR OF COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS FOR BLUE LAGOON CRUISES LIMITED

Fijian Holdings Limited (FHL) today announced the appointment of Mr. Josefa Tuamoto as the new Director of Commercial Operations for Blue Lagoon Cruises Limited (BLC). In announcing the appointment, the FHL Group Managing Director, Mr. Sitiveni Weleilakeba stated that Mr. Tuamoto has been appointed on the basis of his in-depth experience and relationships in the tourism industry. "Mr. Tuamoto is currently the Director Marketing for Fiji Visitors Bureau, where he essentially plans and executes the marketing plan for Fiji as a destination globally. This experience dovetails very well to his new appointment at BLC", Mr. Weleilakeba said. "As the Director Commercial Operations, Mr. Tuamoto's key tasks will be to reinvigorate the Blue Lagoon brand and to re-position Blue Lagoon competitively in the global tourism market to drive BLC performance in the future", he concluded.

Mr. Tuamoto has been with the Fiji Visitors Bureau for 11 years and was the Regional Director in Australia based in Sydney and then Regional Director for the North America based in the Los Angeles. Mr. Tuamoto hails from Macuata, and holds a MBA from the University of Wales and has also attended executive education programs at University of Hawaii, Harvard Business School and Wharton Business School. He takes over from current Director, Scott Forrest on March 18th 2007. FHL owns 100% of Blue Lagoon Cruises Holdings Limited, which owns 70% of Blue Lagoon Cruises Limited. As at 30 June 2006, the tourism sector made up 6.9% of FHL's total investment portfolio.
